Tesla is an American electric vehicle and clean energy company based in Palo Alto, California. The company specializes in electric vehicle manufacturing, battery energy storage from home to grid scale and, through its SolarCity subsidiary, solar panel and solar roof tile manufacturing.
Car design has gotten stale the days of cars with rocket-like fins are long gone. That’s why the Tesla Cybertruck(Tesla Cybertruck is an all-electric, battery-powered, light commercial vehicle in development by Tesla) caused such a stir, it was a radical departure of current designs. Purveyors of luxury gadgets Caviar have carried the “cyber” design over to their latest iPhone mod, hoping for an equally headline-grabbing result.
“Cyberphone” is based on the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max (They are the 13th-generation flagships of the iPhone, succeeding the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, respectively. Apple unveiled the devices alongside a lower-end model, the iPhone 11, on September 10, 2019) and has a Tesla-inspired angular exterior made out of titanium. Unlike Caviar’s typical designs (which lean towards decorative), this one is actually practical, believe it or not.
The screen is covered by a titanium plate, which can flip down and around to the back to form a kickstand for the phone. Flip it back up and you have excellent protection for the screen.
Caviar will only build 99 Cyberphones and will sell you a 64GB unit based on the iPhone 11 Pro for $5,265. If you want the Max version or more storage, that will be extra.
