Infinix Smart 6 is an affordable android phone that succeeds the Infinix Smart 5. You get a colorful, stylish and affordable device that delivers good value at its price. The Infinix Smart 6 features a good display and promises a solid battery life with a 5000 mAh capacity battery built-in.

Design and Display

The Infinix Smart 6 is a stylish phone and looks quite similar to the Smart 5 and Smart 5 Pro. It has an all plastic body available in Purple, Ocean Blue, Light Sea Green, and Polar Black. Infinix claims the body is made from an antibacterial material this is from a coating of Silver ions (S-I).

This infinix phone offers two cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back with a notch in front for the front facing camera.

Infinix Smart 6 sports a 6.6-inch TFT display. This is pretty much similar to display size Tecno provided in Spark series in models like the Spark 8 and Spark 8C. The display offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and an impressive brightness of up to 500 nits.

Cameras

In the front of the device an 8 megapixels snapper is mounted on the waterdrop notch in the top centre for taking selfies. The front camera also has a LED flash.

Infinix Smart 6 has a dual-camera setup on the back. The 8 megapixels sensor paired with a 0.8 megapixels sensor should deliver decent photos and videos. The camera offers dual-LED flash and also supports features like bokeh effects.

Hardware and Software

On hardware front, the Infinix Smart 6 sports a Unisoc SC9863A (28nm) octa-core processor. The processor is built on a dual cluster architecture consisting of two quad-core Cortex-A55 processors clocked at 1.6GHz and 1.2GHz respectively.

This android phone runs on Android 11 (Go Edition) with XOS 7.6 UI out of the box. It features a Kids Mode for protecting your kids from harmful content and predators online. It also offers a cool voice changer (Xvocal) that enables you distort your voice to hide your identity or simply to play pranks on your friends.

Infinix Smart 6 offers 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. There is also a model with 3GB RAM in some countries. You also get a dedicated microSD slot that supports up to 512GB memory card.

Connectivity

The smartphone packs dual-SIM with 4G LTE support. You also get microUSB (USB 2.0) with USB on the Go, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi.

Infinix Smart 6 price starts at around 51,900 Naira in Nigeria, which is around $100. The Smart 6 costs around 2,315 EGP in Egypt, and 12,990 KES in Kenya.
