OPPO has launched the OPPO A57 5G in China. The phone arrives as the company’s first Dimensity 810 powered smartphone from the brand. The device features a 90Hz refresh rate display on the front and 13-megapixel dual rear cameras.

The OPPO A57 5G has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that supports an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 269ppi pixel density, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The device is equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (portrait) dual-camera setup on the back.
The OPPO A57 5G is powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset. The device is equipped with 6 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The 6 GB RAM variant of the phone comes with 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage, whereas the 8 GB RAM model comes with 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The A57 5G has a 5,000mAh battery that supports only 10W charging. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and carries support for face unlock. The device offers connectivity options such as dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The handset runs on Android 12 OS, which is customized with ColorOS 12.1. It weighs 186 grams and measures 7.99mm in thickness.
OPPO A57 5G Price and Availability
The 8GB + 128GB edition of the OPPO A57 5G is priced at 1,499 Yuan (~$235). The pricing of the 6GB + 128GB variant is yet to be confirmed. The handset comes in three colors such as Quiet Night (black), Lilac, and Dark Blue.
