How to recover the old Safari on iPhone

The new iOS 15 brought us a new Safari interface, with a small redesign that positions the address bar at the bottom of the screen. Obviously many users find this change not entirely comfortable and prefer to keep it at the top. Luckily, it is possible to recover the old Safari on iPhone and in this article we will see step by step everything we must do to achieve it.

Obviously, there are some advantages to having the address bar at the bottom; The clearest of these is that when we use the phone with only one hand, it is much easier to reach it and we run less risk of dropping the device, for example. Another positive thing that it has is that it puts all the browser drivers in one place, which obviously once we get used to it, it will be much more comfortable.

However, if you are not convinced and want everything to be as before; Do not worry that Apple, I leave an option that we can enable to do so and it is very easy to configure, we are going to see step by step everything we must do to maintain the classic version of Safari on iPhone.

Recover old Safari on iPhone

The first thing we will have to do is open the Settings application from the home screen .

Once we are in configuration, we will have to scroll down and select “Safari”.

Now we will have to go to the “Tabs” section and change it to “Single tab”.

In this way the address will return to the top of the screen and the browser controls will continue at the bottom.

Regardless of the interface we want to use, the same amount of content can be displayed. This means that it is only a matter of aesthetics, whatever is most comfortable for us.

Apple little by little continues to make changes to Safari for iPhone adding new functions and different options. Although obviously not many users are comfortable with this small change; Luckily, we have the possibility to return to the old Safari on iPhone in a very fast and simple way.
