Vivo will be hosting a global launch for the X50 series smartphone soon. The company stated that the devices would not be limited to China alone. The Vivo X50 and X50 Pro smartphones will be debuting to foreign markets on July 16 or July 17.

According to Vivo, the third member of the X50 series, the Vivo X50 Pro Plus, which is currently on pre-sale in China will not be introduced into the global markets.

The Vivo X50 Pro Plus comes in three models. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. These models retail for 4,998 Yuan (~$711), 5,498 Yuan (~$782), and 5,998 Yuan (~$853) respectively.

JD.com has started pre-orders of the X50 Pro Plus. It comes in Camel and Gravity colour choices. Based on the smartphone’s listing, the X50 Pro Plus will be formally launched on July 8 and will go on sale on July 11.

The Vivo X50 Pro Plus will sport a 120Hz 6.56-inch AMOLED display with support for Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels. The screen also comes with a punch hole that shelters the 32-megapixels front-facing camera.

On the inside, the Snapdragon 865 SoC will run the device. Alongside the chipset, the phone is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and FunTouch 10.5 OS based on Android 10 OS.

However, the X50 Pro Plus lacks a microSD card slot; thus, there is no option for storage expansion.

The phone will feature a quad-camera system on its rear end and will be backed up by a 4,350mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
